Lebzelters shares a rich history of commitment and service in

Phillip Lebzelter, founder of P. Lebzelter & Son Co. began his
first business, the Eagle Wheel and Bending Works in 1854, where
he manufactured hickory bent rims, shafts, poles, spokes, wheels,
bows, banded hubs and fine grade wheels. With the introduction
of the horseless carriage at the turn of the century, Lebzelter
decided to grow with the transportation industry. In 1900, he began
selling carriage and bicycle tires supplied exclusively by Goodyear.

"Phillip Lebzelter shaped the guiding principles for this business,"
says Clair McCormick, today's president of Lebzelter's." He
established the standards for customer satisfaction. If he hadn't
taken care of his customers, we certainly wouldn't be here today."
Since the early days many things have changed, but much has stayed
the same. Though Lebzelter's has experienced significant growth, now
operating three locations, their committment to service remains as strong as ever.
"Goodyear has a product that can withstand all the competition," says
McCormick. "Goodyear satisfies its customers. We satisfy our customers."
In addition to tire service, Lebzelters is proud to extend its committment
to customer service to automotive service and repair. McCormick credits
Lebzelters success to its 25 employees, many of whom are ASE certified
technicians, committed to quality car care. "I'm convinced that training
is what makes the difference," says McCormick. " We make an investment
in our employees. They make an investment in themselves. We're both
making an investment in the future."
So what will happen in the next 150 years? Only time will tell, but you can
be sure that though Lebzelters shares a rich past with the people of Lancaster
